The six districts
North Cyprus is six districts: Lefkoşa, Girne, Gazimağusa, İskele, Güzelyurt and Lefke. The Karpaz is not a seventh district. Dipkarpaz and Yeni Erenköy belong to İskele. Listings use these official names.
The north coast
Girne is the harbour town. Lapta, Alsancak and Karaoğlanoğlu are to the west. Çatalköy, Bahçeli and Esentepe are to the east. Apartments, villas and houses on this coast each have their own page.
The east coast
İskele is the district centre beside the long beach. Boğaz and Bafra are in the same district. The Karpaz villages belong to İskele too. Gazimağusa is the walled city, further west, in its own district.
Inland and the west
Lefkoşa is the inland capital. Güzelyurt is the citrus plain in the west. Lefke is the district centre near the west coast. Sale and rent are separate in all three.
